Working in line with Bremont’s core principles, we have been able to do something that no other luxury watch brand has been able to do - deliver mechanical watches that are uncompromisingly Bremont, but also very unique on a squadron level.
Working with US Air Force F-35 pilots,
Bremont designed a unique and bespoke timepiece exclusively available to
current and former F-35 pilots. It takes its inspiration from the
world’s newest and most advanced 5th Generation fighter, the Lightning
II. Developed and built by Lockheed, the Lightning II boasts an
unprecedented level of situational awareness and lethality aided by
advances in stealth, sensor fusion, and networking
The new Bremont C-5 Galaxy watch project is a unique and bespoke
watch available to current and former crew members of the C-5
Galaxy. The C-5 Galaxy remains the premier heavy airlift jet for
the United States military. The pilots, flight engineers, and
loadmasters on this unique aircraft understand that their mission is as
boundless as the galaxy after which the C-5 is named.
ROYAL NAVY FLEET AIR ARM
Working with Naval Air Squadron members, Bremont designed the new
Bremont Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm watch which is available to current
and former Naval Air Squadron members. Flying from ships deployed
worldwide, the aircraft of the Fleet Air Arm provide the UK with
influence over land and sea, and assist in the wide range of roles
undertaken by the Royal Navy from disaster relief to landing Royal
Marines onto a hostile shore.
This exciting military project sees Bremont produce a special
watch for the Tailhook Association. The Tailhook Association is
internationally recognized as the premier supporter of US Navy aircraft
carriers and US Navy and Marine Corps Aviation in all forms. The new
Bremont “Tailhooker” special military edition watch is a unique version
Martin Baker MBIII including the Tailhook logo printed on the
watch dial and second hand painted with Tailhook striping.
18 (B) SQUADRON
THE 18 SQUADRON
The Bremont 18 (B) SQN project celebrates the centenary of the
RAF 18 (B) Squadron, which was formed at Northolt on 11 May 1915 and has
timelessly served its country and people. This unique and bespoke watch
is based on the
Bremont SOLO, the customised dial features the 18 (B)
Squadron's red Pegasus along with their motto "Animo et fide" and is
only available to current and former squadron members.
F-15C "EAGLE DRIVER"
Working with F-15 “Eagle Driver” pilots for this exciting military project, Bremont designed a unique and bespoke watch based on the new Bremont Boeing Model 1. The Bremont “Eagle Driver” is inspired by the world-renowned Boeing F-15A/B/C/D Eagle, designated by many as the “World’s Greatest Air Superiority Fighter”. The watch dial incorporates the coveted “Eagle Driver” patch whilst on the back the bespoke rotor shows the classic F-15 air-to-air missile load.
F3 TORNADO FLYERS
Working with former F3 Tornado flyers, Bremont created a unique version of the MBII.
When deciding on a watch to commemorate the service list of F3, the
fastest interceptor in the world at low level, it was important to choose a model that was qualified to
perform at similar extremes. The MBII was selected due to the
unparalleled testing carried out during its development with
Martin-Baker, pioneers of the ejection seats that protected F3 crews for 25 years.
In close coordination with pilots of the B-1 Lancer, also known
as “The Bone”, Bremont creates an exclusive watch for aircraft
commanders, copilots, and systems officers of the advanced Boeing B-1
bomber. This supersonic, variable-sweep wing, jet-powered strategic
bomber can deploy anywhere in the world using the jet's
long-range high-altitude Mach 1.25 capability, and can then quickly
transition to low-level penetration. The watch dial highlights the plane
and its unique variable geometry capability with wings that can sweep
from 15 degrees full forward to 67.5 degrees full sweep.
Royal Navy Submarine Service
ROYAL NAVY SUBMARINE SERVICE
This exciting military project sees Bremont produce a special
watch for the Royal Navy Submarine Service. The Bremont RNS watch is
exclusively available to Submariners, who can be deployed for many
months at a time without seeing either daylight or their loved ones.
They undergo a rigorous training programme ensuring that every one of
them understands the complex workings of the Submarine thus becoming
integral to the safety of their shipmates and earning themselves the
“Dolphins” badge. The Bremont RNS timepiece is based on
MB model which undergoes it’s own rigorous testing.
Working with the pilots of the Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker,
Bremont designed a unique watch based on the
ALT1-Z, a popular choice
for military personnel. The Bremont KC-135 watch was built exclusively
for pilots, navigators and boom operators of the Boeing KC-135
Stratotanker, a military aerial refuelling aircraft. These
skilled men and women are trained to be in position anywhere in the
world to provide fuel as required to almost any aircraft in the U.S.
WESTLAND SEA KING
The Westland Sea King first flew in May 1969 and continues to
serve with the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force until its planned
retirement in 2016. This sturdy helicopter has carried out almost every
role possible in its lifetime from Anti-Submarine Warfare and Aerial
Surveillance to Troop Carrying and Search And Rescue. The Bremont Sea King timepiece, based on
Bremont’s ALT1-C, is only available to serving and retired pilots. It is limited to 180 pieces, the same number of Sea King helicopters built by Westland.
ROYAL MARINES COMMANDO
The Bremont Royal Marines
Commando commemorates an incredible
350 years of history, once described by Churchill as “...long, rough and
glorious...”. The style is that of a classic diver’s watch. It provides excellent legibility and a 120 click uni-directional bezel, all with high luminance. The project, limited to just 350 timepieces and exclusive to serving and retired Royal Marines, is built to the rugged but exacting standards that have become the hallmark of Bremont timepieces.
The Bremont B-2 Chronograph was produced for the elite pilots of the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit. This American strategic bomber is the only aircraft able to carry large air-to-surface standoff weapons in a stealth configuration. Designed in conjunction with the Squadron, the Bremont B-2 Chronograph is based on the ALT1-Z. Its DLC coated bezel and blacked-out features represent the B-2 - also known as the Stealth Bomber. The B-2 spirit timepiece inspired the design of Bremont's ALT1-B core collection model.
3 REGIMENT ARMY AIR CORP
The Apache-inspired GMT Chronograph was developed with 3
Regiment Army Air Corp, based at Wattisham, UK. The 3AAC provides the
offensive air elements of the 16th Air Assault Brigade. This watch was
developed for aircrew who had commanded in at least two tours of
Bremont supplies watches to a number of carrier-based squadrons. US Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 81, also known as the 'Sunliners', flies F/A-18E Super Hornets out of Naval Air Station Oceana. This modified MBII watch was developed in close association with the aircrew.
The B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber carrying up to 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) of weapons. Designed and built by Boeing, it has been flown by the US Air Force since the 1950s. The B-52 Squadron chose to customise the Bremont ALT1-Z for its exclusive timepiece. The ALT1-Z is a very popular model with the military, aviators and world-travellers alike thanks to its 24hr UTC function.
Bremont worked very closely with military C-17 pilots to design a world timer chronograph. The 'Globemaster' lists the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) identifiers representing C-17 landing locations in all 24 time zones and can show UTC time through its adjustable 24-hour hand. The date window is based on the unique shape of jet’s Head Up Display (HUD) and the etched globe on the face takes its inspiration from the US Air Force AMC patch. The C-17 timepiece inspired Bremont's ALT1-WT core collection model.
9TH RECONNAISSANCE WING
The Bremont U-2 was created exclusively for, and tested
extensively by, the 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beale Air-force Base, CA.
Based on the Bremont MB, it was designed in association with British
ejection seat manufacturer Martin-Baker to cope with the demanding conditions
experienced by this elite group of pilots: it functions up at 100,000ft
at -40 degrees Celsius.
US NAVAL TEST PILOT SCHOOL
Bremont supplies the United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) with a modified ALT1-Z GMT chronograph. Available to graduates, the watch features the prestigious USNTPS emblem at 3 o’clock. Located at Patuxent River, Maryland, the USNTPS instructs experienced US Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force experimental test pilots.
