Sir Matthew Pinsent, the four-time Olympic rowing gold medallist (at four consecutive Olympic games), and British Olympic downhill skier Graham Bell are both at the Vancouver Games wearing their respective Bremont watches. Sir Matthew can be seen below holding the Olympic torch wearing his Supermarine 500, last week. Both will be presenting for the BBC at the games. Bremont co-founder, Nick English joined the air display piloting the Bremont Bus (a 1954 Broussard) at the Jersey International Airshow. Later that day, H Letto hosted a client's event where local watch enthusiasts got the opportunity to meet the Brothers.

Bleriot Plane at Selfridges - Crossing sponsored by Bremont |
Shoppers in Selfridges have the chance for a week to marvel at a feat of aviation 100 years after it first amazed visitors to the London store. An original Bleriot monoplane owned by Swede Mikael Carlson which on Sunday 26th July flew over the English Channel to mark the centenary of the first cross-Channel flight went on display on the shop's ground floor. The store, which is also celebrating its 100th year, will recreate the exhibition with Mr Carlson's craft until 2nd August. The restoration of the plane and the trip were sponsored by watch company Bremont.

Bremont celebrates centenary anniversary of Louis Bleriot's Channel crossing |
Bremont watch company works with Mikael Carlson to fly an orginal Bleriot across the English channel on the 100 year anniversary of Louis Bleriot's remarkable achievement. Bremont is delighted to be celebrating the remarkable achievement of Louis Bleriot who piloted the first aircraft to cross the English Channel on 25th July 1909, marking a watershed in aviation history and embodying the pioneering spirit of that golden age. To finish the season of Bleriot flying, the plane will also take stage at Selfridges London after the channel flight, just as Louis Bleriot's aircraft did a 100years earlier.

Bremont is once more delighted to act as the official timing partner at what can only be described as the world's greatest celebration of automotive culture. The Festival of Speed will be staged from 3-5 July in the beautiful parkland of the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex.

Bremont Watch Company and Martin-Baker have collaborated to design and build the ultimate aviation watch. As the inventor of the ejection seat, Martin-Baker is at the pinnacle of British engineering. Sara Campbell breaks free diving record |
On the 2nd April at 11.10am local time on Long Island in the Bahamas, Bremont ambassador and British freediver, Sara Campbell, who turned 37 on Monday 30th March, set a new World Record in womens freediving of 96m Constant Weight on just one breath.
Sara, who has been involved with the Bremont testing and development of the new Supermarine watch held her breath for 3 minutes and 36 seconds.

Sara Campbell's quest to be the first woman to dive to sub 100m on one breath |
Sara Campbell, the 36-year-old Briton, who shocked the world by setting three World Records within 48 hours, just nine months after starting the extreme sport of free diving, has announced her quest to become the first woman ever to dive to sub100m on just one breath at this year's Vertical Blue competition from 1st April on Bahamas' Long Island.
Sara who is a Bremont ambassador will also be testing the new Supermarine 500. The Bremont Supermarine 500 is an 'amphibious watch', both classical in its design and aviation roots but very effective as a diving watch. It has been developed as a tribute to the iconic British aircraft manufacturer responsible for the Supermarine S6B Schneider Trophy Seaplane and the incredible Supermarine Spitfire.

Bremont is pleased to announce the inventor and philanthropist Marc Koska OBE as a new brand ambassador and SafePoint as a charitable partner. As the inventor of the auto-disable syringe that has gone on to save millions of lives, Marc has been a tireless campaigner with his charity SafePoint to promote the use of safe syringes around the world. Rescue and Race Finish for MIke |
Following the rescue of Alex Thomson and sunsequent mast damage sustained to the Open 60 ECOVER, British skipper Mike Golding has today confirmed in Cape Town that he will retire from competing further in the Velux 5 Oceans Race.
This decision follows Golding's dramatic rescue of fellow competitor Alex Thomson and the dismasting of ECOVER in the Southern Ocean, 100 miles off the southern tip of Africa.

Mike Golding leaves Bilbao for 5 Oceans quest with ALT1-P |
On Sunday 22 October Mike Golding set sail from Bilbao in Spain to take part in the Velux 5 Oceans round-the-world yacht race. The race will cover 30,000 miles with stopovers in Western Australia and the East Coast of the USA before returning to Bilbao at the end of April 2007. Mike is hoping to become the first Briton to win a professional round-the-world yacht race.
We are very pleased that Bremont is the watch of choice for arguably the world's greatest ocean yachtsman.

Bear tests ALP1-P in 'Man vs Wild' |
Bear Grylls puts the Bremont ALT1-P through its paces during the filming of the 'Man vs Wild' series for the Discovery Channel in the US.
This involves Bear being dropped into some of the world's most inhospitable places, equipped with little more than the clothes on his back, and showing how to survive and get out alive!
The locations Bear is currently filming include: the jungles of Costa Rica; the Moab Desert in Utah; the remote Pacific Islands; Sierra Nevada USA; the Alps; Kenya and Alaska.

Bremont releases first watches in June 2007 |
The bremont Watch Company will be releasing the first of its watches in June 2007. It has taken more than three years of research and development to bring the first series of Bremont watches from the drawing board to reality. The high standard of finish and attention to detail which can be seen in everything from the hand-cut and engraved winding rotor in the sapphire crystal back to the meticulous machining of the three-part 'Trip-Tick' cases takes considerable time and skill.
As a result, no more than 1,000 examples of each model will be produced annually.

Congratulations to Bremont ambassador and Everest climber Jake Meyer for breaking the record for climbing the 48 highest peaks of Continental USA in the shortest time possible.
Jake shaved a massive 5 3/4 days off the existing record of 29 days.
