This timepiece will be individually hand assembled upon order, currently arranging client deliveries within 6-8 weeks.

Crafted from Grade 5 Titanium and anodised aluminium, this lightweight model is based on a concept test instrument watch that was developed to put Bremont’s ENG300 Series movement through the rigorous Martin-Baker fighter jet ejection seat testing programme. It features a 43.5mm Trip-Tick® case construction with patented Anti-Shock movement technology. Its Bremont manufactured ENG352 calibre movement, which is tested to the H1 Timing Standard, features a 65-hour power reserve and comes with an extended warranty of 5 years upon registration.

    Description

The Test Instrument subjected the ENG300 Series movement to Live Ejection Testing, Zoom Temperature Climb Testing, Extreme Temperature Endurance, High Altitude Testing and Salt Fog Testing. To this end, the MB Viper features a patented rubberised Anti-Shock movement mount which protects the ENG352 calibre movement from significant shocks and jolts, whilst the 43.5mm matte DLC Grade 5 Titanium case employs a protective carbon coating and an anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal.

The vibrant orange anodised aluminium case middle is secured with 4 corner Torx® screws and on the dial, hours are marked with Super-LumiNova® along with the tips of the chevron-decorated hands whose pattern nods to the signature ejection pull handles seen on fighter ejection seats.

    The H1 Timing Standard

Watches containing the ENG300 series are certified to a chronometer standard in-house using the new Bremont H1 Timing Standard, directly comparable to the ISO3159:2009 Chronometer test.

    British Made

    REINVIGORATING THE BRITISH WATCH INDUSTRY

It is not completely unexpected to find that the world sets its time by Greenwich and not by Geneva. Whilst Geneva and Switzerland may be producing the vast majority of luxury wristwatches today, this certainly wasn’t always the case. In 1800 half of the world's watches, around 200,000 pieces a year, were produced on British shores by British watchmakers, which is an incredible statistic. Another wonderful statistic is that probably over 60-70% of the innovation in a modern day mechanical watch has come from Britain, including every major escapement design. Bremont's mission has always been to play a part in bringing back watchmaking to British shores.
