RE-LIVE AN EVENING WITH RUGBY LEGENDS

An Evening with Rugby Legends
England Rugby Legends

Bremont charged into 2022 like Jamie George heading for the try line, with the confidence of a player at the top of their game.

The beginning of this year’s Guinness 6 Nations Championship coincided with the launch of the Bremont S300 RFU Limited Edition, the latest timepiece celebrating Bremont’s credentials as the RFU’s only Official Timing Partner.

To mark the occasion, Bremont hosted a distinguished line-up of rugby legends at ‘The Wing’ to entertain guests with tales of their stand-out rugby moments, career highlights and their predictions for this year’s Guinness Six Nations Championship.

Amongst Bremont guests on the night was a smattering of esteemed Bremont family members including SAS Who Dares Wins presenter and Bremont ambassador Jason Fox, TV presenter Ben Shepherd, and England rugby royalty Lawrence Dallaglio.

Hosted by the inimitable former England Prop turned TV pundit, David ‘Flats’ Flatman, the line-up starred Lewis Moody (former England Captain), Shane Williams (former Wales Winger and record try-scorer), John Barclay (former Scotland Captain) and Sean O’Brien (former Ireland Flanker).

Before disappearing upstairs to take part in the ‘Panel’ the legends tried their skills at something slightly more delicate than a scrum down and were put through their paces in Bremont’s Watchmaking Masterclass facility.

Despite the majority now being former players, their rivalries, team loyalties and competitive nature were clear for all to see and guests were privy to unfiltered stories from the dressing room. Altogether, a very insightful and enjoyable evening to celebrate Bremont’s latest watch in collaboration with England Rugby.

CAPTAIN’S PICK – the S300 RFU

Rugby Legends

We were delighted Bremont ambassador Tom Curry was named England Captain for the team’s opening matches against Scotland and Italy.

Remarkably, Tom became England's youngest captain since Will Carling, and continues to impress with his leadership and passion for the game.

Discover more about Tom’s pick, the Bremont S300 RFU, which sits proudly within the England Rugby Collection, alongside the ‘must have’ Bremont Rose and respective 150th Anniversary timepieces.

Tom Curry Quote

“Bremont's designs, craftsmanship and brand ethos are perfectly aligned with what England Rugby stands for - two institutions that are made in England and both ‘Tested Beyond Endurance’.”
TOM CURRY

As Official Timing Partner to both England Rugby and Twickenham Stadium, the new timepiece, and indeed the partnership, not only celebrates what it means to be ‘Made in England’ but equally the shared values of durability, precision, and technical ability.

The S300 RFU comes in a 40mm iteration, and its distinct red, white and blue colour palette has been inspired by the England team kit.
