Watch the VideoBremont Supernova
Since inception, Bremont has been dedicated to crafting purposeful, resilient, and highly engineered watches that can perform in the most demanding environments. Built on the belief that adventure should have no ceiling, our watches have been constructed to withstand all the elements and conquer the land, sea, and air. We have always reached for the skies. Now it’s time to take it further – space. The Supernova Chronograph is the first in an entirely new product universe for Bremont. A contemporary 41mm integrated-bracelet chronograph in 904L steel, with a black ceramic decahedral bezel and a dial inspired by spacecraft solar array geometry. This is a watch that belongs where it's going.
HISTORY IN THE MAKING
Bremont is set to become the first British watch brand to live on the Moon. The brand-new Supernova Chronograph will fly aboard American aerospace company Astrolab’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) FLIP rover to the lunar south pole as part of Astrobotic’s Griffin Mission One (Griffin-1), scheduled in the second half of the year (2026). When it lands, it remains on the surface. Not as a passenger. As a permanent resident.

Bremont Moon Mission I
Bremont’s Supernova Watch has been integrated into the chassis of the FLIP rover via A CUSTOM‑ENGINEERED TILE PLATE DESIGNED TO SECURELY HOUSE THE WATCH, and will undergo the same NASA protocol testing program as FLIP, in order to withstand the rigours of launch, flight and survival on the Moon.
A New Frontier
NASA PROTOCOL TESTING PROGRAM
RIGOROUS TESTING
The Bremont Supernova Chronograph and the FLIP rover are subject to a ruthless testing program, ‘Spacecraft Protoflight Qualification’, to ensure that they can withstand the rigours of launch, flight and survival on the Moon. All tests must be passed in order to fly. Protoflight Qualification testing validates that flight hardware can survive mission environments by pushing prototype units beyond expected flight conditions — covering structural, thermal, and electrical performance to confirm design and build maturity and margin. The process follows a “Test Like You Fly” philosophy, ensuring hardware is evaluated in configurations of actual flight. Test levels are deliberately more severe than the mission’s already demanding expectations, exposing hardware to conditions beyond worst case. Throughout, detailed procedures, plans, and results are documented to the demanding standards of spaceflight. The goal: optimum performance in one of the most brutal and unforgiving environments of our solar system.

A bold design language
The 41mm Supernova Chronograph is distinguished by its innovative three-dimensional dial design, geometric case architecture and multi-faceted decahedral black ceramic bezel. The integrated bracelet design offers a seamless transition from case to strap, creating a streamlined silhouette that feels purpose-built for this new frontier.
SOLAR ARRAY INSPIRED DIAL
The intricate dial of the Supernova Chronograph takes its cues from the detailed geometry of spacecraft solar arrays and solar sail panels. An interlocking black galvanic perforated grid structure with triangular pathways draws the eye to the centre of the dial.
TECHNICAL CASE ARCHITECTURE
The complex sandwich‑style case architecture echoes Bremont’s famed Trip‑Tick 3-piece case concept. Executed in 904l steel, chosen for its exceptional corrosion resistance and lustre, the case features a refined balance of brushed and polished facets designed to catch light dramatically from a distance.
LUMINESCENT ENERGY
The dial is set over a full Super‑LumiNova® (blue‑emission) layer that delivers exceptional legibility in low-light conditions. The vivid blue glow, reminiscent of the luminescent energy that is emitted from spacecraft, heightens the watch’s futuristic presence and reinforces the inspiration behind the Supernova collection.
CHRONOMETER RATED
At the heart of the Supernova lies the chronometer rated BC77 movement with high finishing and a sixty-two‑hour power reserve. The exhibition case back reveals the beauty of the calibre and decorated rotor.
