The TT ‘Tourist Trophy’ course is notorious, and for good reason. It is the last of the great challenges in motorsport and is the ultimate test of both man and machine. As Official Watch and Timing Partner to the Isle of Man TT, Bremont is delighted to release this limited edition timepiece to commemorate this iconic British motorsport event and it's brave competitors, in what is possibly the most dangerous road race on Earth.

    Description

Bremont reveals the Isle of Man TT 2022 Limited Edition as it continues its timing partnership with the world’s greatest road race, one of the last great challenges in motorsport and the ultimate test of both man and machine.

The new 43mm Bremont Isle of Man TT chronograph comes in a steel Trip-Tick case, featuring a bi-directional rotating, ceramic bezel and 42 hour power reserve. The black dial is decorated with the Isle of Man TT logo at the 6 Hour position whilst a subtle debossing of the Isle of Man triskelion can be seen on the 3 Hour sub-dial. Turning the watch over reveals a closed case back decorated with the map of the TT mountain racecourse in relief, complemented by a black rubber strap, the perfect combination for high endurance motorsports.

Whilst Geneva and Switzerland may be producing the vast majority of luxury wristwatches today, this certainly wasn’t always the case. In 1800 half of the world's watches, around 200,000 pieces a year, were produced on British shores by British watchmakers, which is an incredible statistic. Another wonderful statistic is that probably over 60-70% of the innovation in a modern day mechanical watch has come from Britain, including every major escapement design. Bremont's mission has always been to play a part in bringing back watchmaking to British shores.
